Note: As per Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989, Dated: L418h989, for Sub Inspector recruitment:- "Candidates holding Degree or Diploma in Criminology or NCC 'C' Certificate or who have offered Police Administration as one of the papers for the degree examination may be given weight."
About the University: The Sardar Patel University of Police, Security & Criminal Justice (SPUP) is a State University and was established by the Govt. of Rajasthan in 2012. The University offers a specialized UG program B.A. in Security Management. The program was introduced in consultation with the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) keeping in mind the industry requirements. The career opportunities for a graduate range from being a risk assessor, Loss prevention officer, police detective, Correction official, Corporate security consultant.
