Programs Offered: Multiple UG level Programs valid across Commerce, Humanities & Science Streams
The Common University Entrance Test CUET-UG is introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in Central Universities from the academic session 2022-23 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). However, ,amy State Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities have also started accepting CUET-UG.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) provides a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country. A single examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Universities.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting CUET-UG.
Participating Universities: To begin with, NTA has listed 106 Universities which are accepting CUET-UG. The list may get modified progressively.
Central Universities: 46
State Universities: 16
Deemed Universities 11:
Private Universities: 38
Note: Many other Universities/Institutions that do not show up in the application form are also likely to accept CUET (UG) 2023 scores. This information will be available in the respective University/Institution websites.
Admission requirements: Admission to the desired course in the desired University is subject to a variety of factors such as eligibility, number of vacant seats, reservation, relaxations, marks secured by you in the tests that are relevant for the course etc. Information of respective University-Course needs to be checked before applying.
About the exam
‣ Computer-based test (CBT) mode
‣ Exam to be held on multiple days in 3 shifts per day (no. of shift depends on centre and will be decided by NTA)
To apply for University/Institution: Should qualify the eligibility of that University/Institution for that particular course.
Note: Candidate may be eligible to appear for CUET (UG) 2023 but may not be eligible to apply for counseling at a particular University/Institution
