The University has been established by the Government of Rajasthan vide Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur Act no.16 of 2008 under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University has on offer multifarious degree programs in domains such as Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Sciences and Hotel Management & Education. Admissions to the engineering program at Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU)is made through GVSAT.
