Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (IGIPESS) is one of the leading institutions for sports education in India. It functions under the Faculty of Inter-disciplinary and Applied Sciences, University of Delhi.  This course is intended to provide academic knowledge and skills in physical and health education and sport science through discipline specific studies in sports, exercise science and health.

The curriculum offers
a) Research Process and Statistical Techniques in Physical Education
b) Scientific Basis of Sports Training & Talent Identification Game of Specialization,
c) Subject specializations in Physiology or Sports management, Physical Education, Education Technology and Pedagogy Techniques in Physical Education, Game of Specialization, Sports Biomechanics etc.

• The applicants will be required to upload the following documents:
- Medical Certificate from Government Hospital/ Primary Health Centre (The format of the certificate can be downloaded from the website of the Department: www.dudpess.du.ac.in
- Highest Sports Achievement Certificate along with supporting certificate
- Self-Declaration Certificate: "I hereby affirm that I am not suffering from any deformity/disability. I understand that in case, during the medical examination conducted by the institute’s or any other registered medical doctor is found to be false my admission is liable to be cancelled".

Fee:
Tuition fee : Rs.9740 per annum for UR/SC/ST candidates
