CUCET 2019 (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) is being conducted jointly for admission into the 14 Central Universities and the Bengaluru Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act of 1960. The 14 Central Universities are

The coordination is being done by the Central University of Rajasthan.
CUCET is conducted for the students of 10+2, Bachelor Degree holders and Master Degree holders to obtain admission into the UG / Integrated Program / B.Voc, Post Graduate Program and the Research Program respectively in these Universities.
a) CU Karnataka : 30 seats. In CU Karnataka, 8% seats will be allotted for UG/PG programmes under supernumerary quota to the candidates who belong to HK Region as per Article 371j subject to submission of relevant certificate.
b) CU Rajasthan : 30 seats (including EWS quota)in Env Science, 31 in Chemistry, 25 In physics. Not specified for others subjects.
c) CU Jammu : 45 in each subject
d) CU Tamil Nadu : 30 + 3 EWS in each subject
e) CU Kashmir : 50 in Mathematics, 44 each in Physics, Zoology and Biotechnology
Admission / Counseling : Admissions are handled at the level of each of these Central Universities and BASE, for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CUCET results, the respective Central Universities and BASE will declare the counselling/admission schedule and merit list based on the weightage of CUCET score and the other criteria of PUs. Please see the website of the concerned University and BASE for details. There will be online admission counselling for some Universities with additional fees.
Note : Applicants can apply for a particular programme for a maximum of three Participating Universities (PUs) with a maximum of 03 options of programmes in each of the selected PU. In case a candidate wishes to opt for more PUs with additional (extra) programme(s), he/she can opt for “Add-On” option by paying additional prescribed fee again.
