Open House by IIIT Delhi on 9 June 2017, Offers 22 seats in B.Tech (ITSS) to non-Science students
2017-06-06IIIT Delhi is conducting an Open House on 9th June 2017. The purpose of this event is to help BTech aspirants, and their parents, to learn more about IIIT-Delhi, its campus, academic programs, placements, entrepreneurship, student activities etc.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), a State University, offers admission into five B.Tech programs : Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (CSAM), Computer Science and Design (CSD) and, Information Technology and Social Sciences (ITSS).
The B.Tech programs in CSD and ITSS are new programs, being started from the AY2017-18. The primary objective of B.Tech(CSD) program is to develop graduates that are not only well versed with computing approaches, tools, and technologies but are also exposed to design thinking, digital media technologies, and their applications. B.Tech (ITSS) program aims to develop IT engineers with a strong understanding of relevant social science discipline. More information about the programs is available on the Institute website.

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM : Campus Tour I: Student volunteers to take guests for visit to Hostels, Café, Lab (Some volunteers ready in labs for project demos), Lecture Hall, Faculty offices
10:30 AM : Arrival and assembling near CO1 and informal interaction with student volunteers
11:00 AM : Presentation covering following topics
