2023-04-06Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India and is the stepping stone for becoming an actuary.
Enjoying very high industry demand, an actuary is a business professional who analyses the financial consequences of risk. Actuaries use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to study uncertain future events, especially those of concern to insurance and pension programs. 
To become an actuary, the student must clear the Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. ACET is conducted three times a year.
Students who have completed their class 12 this year (2023) or earlier can take the ACET in June 2023.
ACET June 2023 dates
- Application dates: 5 Apr to 24 May 2023
- Date of test: 24 Jun 2023
ACET exam will be held in multiple cities across India.
Entrance exams clashing with ACET: Please note that ACET June test date (24 Jun) clashes with date of (a) NEST (NEST is the entrance test for admission in 5 Year Integrated MSc in 2 premium institutes run by Dept of Atomic Energy, GoI), (b) entrance test of Banasthali University (for admission in Engg courses) and (c) entrance test of Army Institute of Law (AIL-Army-LET) for admission in 5 Yr integrated Law program.
ACET Eligibility
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other higher courses/examinations.
Students who have appeared in 10+2 or an equivalent examination and waiting for the result.
Candidates studying higher courses/examinations.
