ISI Applications Closing On 5 Apr
2023-04-04The applications for 2023 admissions in premium UG courses in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) shall close on 5 April 2023. Students who have studied Mathematics and English (irrespective of stream) are eligible to apply.

- Start of Applications: 07th March 2023
- Last Date to Apply: 05th April 2023
- ISI Admission Test: 14th May 2023
About Indian Statistical Institute: The Indian Statistical Institute, known widely as ISI, was founded in 1931 and is a premium institute for studies in stats/maths related courses. Headquartered in Kolkata, with a campus in Bengaluru, it is an Institution of National Importance.
UG-level courses offered:
1) B.Stat (Hons) at Kolkata
2) B. Math (Hons) at Bengaluru
Both the programmes are of three year duration.
Intake
(a) B.Stat (H): 63 + 16 supernumerary seats for female candidates
(b) B.Maths (H): 63 + 16 supernumerary seats for female candidates
Govt. of India reservations apply.
Selection process:
The selection of candidates is based on merit as judged by their performance in the Admission Test and an interview.
Waiver of Admission Test - The written test is waived for applicants who have been selected as INMO AWARDEES to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) in the current year or in any previous year, based on their performance in the Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO).
Stipend: Selected candidates are also provided a monthly stipend of Rs.5000/-
