Pursue your career in the hospitality industry with BHMCT program at Birla Institute of Technology
2023-04-02Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, offers a Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) program of four years duration.
The course has 30 available seats, and graduates are placed in top-notch hospitality chains, airlines, and retail sectors. 
Candidates applying for the program must have passed Class 12/Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in Class 12/Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination with English as a subject. Students writing their board exams in Mar/April 2023 are also eligible to apply.
The selection procedure is based on the candidate's performance in their qualifying examination. Candidates are shortlisted based on their merit and data submitted on their application form.
Reservation criteria are as per the statutory norms of the central government, and seats are reserved for SC, ST, Persons with Disability, Kashmiri Migrant, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.
Fee: Annual fee of Rs.173,000 plus Rs.27,700 (admission & other fees). Hostel fee not included.
