Flexi Courses and Eligibility Relaxations In AIHMCT-OAT 2023
2023-02-28The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM&CT) Bengaluru, under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), has started registration process for its Online Admission Test (AIHMCT-OAT), which has been scheduled to be conducted on 30 Apr 2023 this year.
Course flexibility and eligibility relaxations introduced
a) Students will be allowed to exit, after two, four, and six semesters of the undergraduate programme with Certificate, Diploma and with Regular Bachelor Degree respectively.
b) The successful completion of Four Years undergraduate Programme would lead to Bachelor's Degrees with Honours in a discipline/subject.
c) For admission eligibility, the requirement of length of service period of parent in Army has been reduced to 5 years (earlier it was 10 years)
About the institute : The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM&CT) was established in 1996 as a welfare measure under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), as a centre for excellence in education and building national character. The Institute aims at imparting high quality hotel management education acceptable to international hospitality industry. The Institute is affiliated to Bangalore North University, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and NAAC Accredited.
