IIM Indore announces IPMAT 2023 exam date, IIM Ranchi drops SAT scores for IPM admissions
2023-02-23IIM Indore has recently announced the date of IPMAT 2023 (Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test). The exam is for the five-year integrated program in management for students after Class XII. Those who successfully complete the academic rigor of five years will be awarded the Master of Business Administration (MBA) by IIM Indore. However, if any student intends to exit after completing the program requirements at the end of three years, he/she will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management).
Structure of IPMAT 2023:
The IPM aptitude test will examine the quantitative ability and verbal abilities in English of the applicants. 
It will be conducted in 34 cities across India on Friday, 16th June 2023, in the afternoon session. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a personal assessment (PA), which could be a personal interview (PI) or a video-based assessment (VBA). The weightage for selection is 65% for IPM aptitude test score and 35% for personal assessment.
IIM Ranchi IPM Admissions for 2023:
IIM Ranchi has also declared that it will not consider SAT scores for admissions into its IPM program this year. Instead, students will be admitted based on their IPMAT 2023 scores. This news will bring cheer to many students who were preparing for the IPMAT exam but were apprehensive about SAT scores being a mandatory requirement for admissions.
The IPM program is designed to offer students an integrated understanding of various management disciplines and prepares them for leadership roles in the industry.
