CLAT 2023 Extended Application Deadline
2022-11-15The Consortium of National Law Universities, which shall conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2023) has extended the application deadline to 18 Nov 2023. The application window was opened on the 8th of August 2022 and was initially planned to be closed on 13 Nov 2022.
CLAT is used for admissions to 5 Year Integrated B.A./B.B.A./B.Sc. LL.B programs which are offered at 22 National Law Universities and over 52 Private Universities across the country. In 2022, the newly started NLU Tripura also granted admissions on the basis of CLAT score.
The Consortium of National Law Universities is the body that conducts CLAT each year. CLAT-2023 is applicable for students who are in Grade 12 currently and would be writing their boards in 2023.
The test shall be conducted across multiple cities in India.
Test pattern
CLAT-2023 is a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each.
There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
