HPTU Extends Application Last Date For HPCET 2022
2022-06-21The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2022 for admissions in BTech shall be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur, on 10 Jul 2022. The last date to apply has now been extended upto 26 June. 
HPTU, a premier institution of undergraduate, postgraduate teaching and research in the country, was established in 2010 as a State Government University of Himachal Pradesh.
BTech Branches offered : Architecture, Automobile, Civil, Computer Science & Engg, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Information Tech, Mechanical, Textile

Last year (2021), as was also done in 2020, owing to Covid-19 situation, HPTU decided to not conduct HPCET and instead, the admissions in BTech were made through two channels namely JEE-Mains and marks scored in qualifying examination (10+2).
