Jamia Reopens CUET & Own Entrance Registrations

Jamia Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University) has reopened the online registrations for its own independent entrance test to be conducted for many specialized UG courses.

Please note that even for courses in which admission is based on CUET, applicants need to register on Jamia portal as well.

The last date for both the above admission channels has been extended till 25 May 2022.Jamia 2022 Application Dates Extended


1. Key courses for which Jamia will conduct its own entrance test : There are many sought-after courses, especially the professional courses, for which the University is NOT accepting CUET-UG and instead will conduct its own entrance test as has been the past practice. 2. Courses in which admission is through CUET-UG : The University has also decided to grant admissions in some courses through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) which is to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). There are 10 courses in this category as listed below.

(ii) BA (Hons) Sanskrit

(iii) BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies

(iv) BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies

(v) BA (Hons) Economics

(vi) BA (Hons) History

(vii) BSc in Biotechnology

(viii) BVoc (Solar Energy)

(ix) BSc (Hons) Physics

(x) BA (Hons) Turkish Language & Literature.

Students who are interested in applying for these courses will have to fill online forms of CUET-UG and will also have to register for JMI as per the instructions given in the prospectus.
