JEE Mains Session 1 Applications Reopened By NTA

Owing to public requests, JEE-Mains 2022 applications window has been reopened from 18 April. Aspiring students can now apply for Session 1 until 25 Apr 2022. The dates of Advance Intimation of Examination City, downloading of Admit Cards, and declaration of Result will be released in due course.

This year, the JEE Mains is being conducted in 2 Sessions. The application schedule for second session will be announced separately.

Entrance exams clashing with JEE (Mains) Session 1 : It may please be noted that the Session 1 dates of JEE (Mains) clash / overlap the dates of two other Engineering Entrance Exams namely BITSAT (20 to 26 Jun) and SITEEE (26 Jun).

Language options : This year, NTA is offering option of taking JEE Mains in as many as 13 languages, as listed below :

English : All Examination Centres in India

Hindi : All Examination Centres in India

English and Urdu : All Examination Centres in India

English and Assamese : Examination Centres in Assam

English and Bengali : Examination Centres in West Bengal, Tripura and Andaman & Nicobar Island

English and Gujarati : Examination Centres in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli

English and Kannada : Examination Centres in Karnataka

English and Marathi : Examination Centres in Maharashtra

English and Malayalam : Examination Centres in Kerala and Lakshadweep

English and Odia : Examination Centres in Odisha

English and Punjabi : Examination Centres in Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi

English and Tamil : Examination Centres in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Island

English and Telugu : Examination Centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination

Only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or those who are appearing in Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2022, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2022.

Candidates who passed Class 12/equivalent examination in 2019 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2022.
