VITEEE Postponed, Clashes JEE-Adv, CUET-UG, IPM IIM Indore

The Vellore Institute of Technology, a Deemed University, has been accepting applications for the B.Tech / BDesign / BArch programs and has once again extended the application deadline by another 1 month. The admissions shall be based on its entrance exam VITEEE, which has been rescheduled and unfortunately has date clash / overlap with 3 other key entrance exams.

Last date to apply: 30 May 2022 (extended from 30 Apr 2022)

Date of entrance exam: 30 Jun to 6 Jul 2022 (earlier date window was 30 May to 7 Jun 2022)

Entrance exams clashing with VITEEE: Please note that VITEEE dates window clashes / overlaps the admission test dates of JEE-Advanced (3 Jul), CUET-UG (3 Jul to 10 Jul) and IPM-IIM-Indore (2 Jul). Hence caution needs to be exercised while selecting the exam date/slot.

However, it is worth noting that since JEE-Mains Session II will end on 30 July, JEE-Advanced date is bound to be changed.


About the institute: VIT Vellore is now a Deemed to be University and also has been declared an Institute of Eminence by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It also has two campuses in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), one each in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) and Amravati (Andhra Pradesh).  The Bhopal and Amravati campuses are registered as Private Universities in the respective states.  However, admissions to all the programs across the four-campus shall be based on VITEEE.

PCM / PCB based eligibility: Candidates who have studied PCM are eligible for all BTech degree programmes. Candidates who have studied PCB are eligible for B.Tech. Bioengineering and B.Tech. Biotechnology programmes. They are also eligible for B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Spl in Bioinformatics / Health Informatics) but after joining, registering for Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.
