AMU Begins 2021 Admission Process
2021-06-15Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has started the 2021 admission cycle by opening its application window to accept candidate registrations. AMU offers multiple UG programs for students after Class 12. These vary from professional courses like B.Tech, B.A.LL.B to traditional courses like B.A.(Hons), B.Com(Hons) etc. Admission to most of the UG programs are via an Entrance Test. A few courses have departmental tests, i.e. tests conducted by a department of the university.
AMU is one of the oldest premier Central Universities of India. AMU is ranked #17 as per NIRF-2020 ranking released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It also offers some of the programs from its off-campus centres at Malappuram, Kerala and Murshidabad, West Bengal.
The last date of application varies on the course applied. The application fee per course is Rs.55
0 for B.A., B.Com, B.Sc programs, Rs.750 for B.Tech and B.A.LL.B programs.
Entrance Test Dates have not yet been announced due to the COVID19 situation and it is expected to be announced sometime later.
