SRMJEEE 2021 Dates Changed
2021-03-04SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Deemed to be University (formerly known as SRM University), has extended the dates for applications and has also rescheduled its Joint Entrance Exam for Engineering SRMJEEE-2021. The entrance exam, earlier planned to be conducted in the First / Second week of April, is now scheduled to be held from 11 June to 16 June 2021.
Institutes covered : SRMJEEE is common for SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and NCR), SRM University - Sonepat (Haryana) and SRM University - Andhra Pradesh.

Entrance Exams CLASHING with SRMJEE 
Given the current status of exam dates announcement, SRMJEE has exam date overlaps with the following :
1. NEST : Integrated MSc in institutes run by Dept of Atomic Energy, GoI
2. IPM-IIM-Rohtak : 5 Year Integrated Program in Management
3. IPM-IIM-Indore : 5 Year Integrated Program in Management
4. CLAT : National level exam for admission in NLUSs and other institutes in 5 Year Law programs
5. NCHM-JEE : National level exam for admission in Hotel / Hospitality Management courses
6. HSEE-IIT-Madras : 5 Year Integrated MA (Dev Studies / English) in IIT Madras
Covid impact : In light of the prevailing uncertainties, SRMIST has specified that in case SRMJEEE gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks and JEE-Mains-21 and a valid SAT score. Prior information will be provided to candidates in such cases.
Last year (2020), the exam was cancelled and B.Tech admissions were granted based on +2 / Pre-University / Equivalent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology. Admissions were also done on the basis of JEE-Mains-2020 and SAT scores.
