CAUTION by UGC : IIPM New Delhi Unrecognized

University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Govt of India, has issued a notice on 30 Sep 2020 informing the students and public at large that Indian Institute of Planning and Management, 133/4 Qutub Enclave, Phase - II, New Delhi 110016 is NOT A UNIVERSITY within the meaning of Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956.
Extract of the notification states the following :
- It does not have the right of conferring degrees.
- IIPM is neither entitled to award any UG or PG degree, including BBA / BCA / MBA nor is it recognized by UGC.
- Hon’ble High Court of Delhi has also refrained IIPM from offering any degree program vide its order of 2014.
