NTA Starts Registrations For JEE Mains 2020 April Exam
2020-02-07National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the applications process for second round of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains 2020) which will be conducted in the month of April. The first round was held in January. In April also, the test will be held on different shifts/dates.
JEE (Mains) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions. JEE (Mains) is also an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
It is conducted twice every year and a candidate can appear in either or both. Best of the two scores shall be used for preparation of merit list for admissions.

Premium Engineering Entrance Exams : In addition to JEE Mains and JEE Advanced, there are over 70 Engineering Entrance Exams conducted every year, some of which have strict domicile requirements. Some of the exams like BITSAT, UGEE-IIITH, ICAR-AIEEA-UG, CET-IMU-Eng, AMU, CUET-BTech, CUSAT-CAT, UIIT lead to admission in premium institutes.
