KEAM 2020 : Certificates Required For Reservation or Category Benefits for Admission in Professional Degree Courses

Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has notified the details of certificates required to be submitted for availing Category /Reservation benefits in admission in Professional Degree courses.

The procedure for inviting applications for KEAM 2020 will start from the month of January 2020 onwards.

In order to avail category/reservation benefits, the eligible candidates should upload relevant category certificates along with the Online application form. For this the candidates should obtain the following Certificates from the concerned Revenue authorities.

List of certificates

(i) Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from the Village Officer(SEBC/OEC candidates)

(ii) Caste certificate from Thahsildar (for SC / ST candidates)

(iii) Caste certificate from the Village officer (for OEC candidates not included in Non-Creamy layer)

(iv) Income certificate from the Village Officer (for fee reservation / scholarship based on annual family income except SC / ST /OEC candidates)

(v) Caste & Income certificate from the Village Officer (candidates included in the communities eligible for educational concession as per G.O.(MS)No.10/2014/BCDD dated 23.05.2014.

(vi) Non-Creamy layer certificate from the Village Officer (sons / daughters of inter caste married people of whom either parent belongs to SEBC / OEC) or inter caste certificates from the Thahsildar  (sons / daughters of inter caste married people of whom either parent belongs to SC / ST).

(vii) Nativity certificate from the Village Officer (only for those candidates whose native place is not mentioned in the school certificates / birth certificates).

Note : “E-District” of the above mentioned certificate issued by the Revenue Authority will also be accepted.

The Certificates suitable for each category with validated date as fixed by the Revenue authorities uploaded along with the Online application only will be considered for availing reservation benefits.

Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry) : 20 April 2020 // 10AM to 12.30PM

Paper 2 (Mathematics) : 21 April 2020 // 10AM to 12.30PM

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to Architecture courses must qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. Admission in Architecture is based on merit as assessed by equal weightage to NATA Score and marks/grades in the Qualifying Examination.
