Actuarial Common Entrance Test ACET-20 Applications Ongoing

Institute of Actuaries in India (IAI) shall be conducing the Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) on Feb 29th, 2020. ACET is required for a student to apply for membership to IAI, which is the starting path to becoming an actuary.

An actuary is a business professional who analyzes the financial consequences of risk. Actuaries use mathematics, statistics and financial theory to study uncertain future events, especially those of concern to insurance and pension programs.

ACET is conducted thrice an year by IAI. This is the 20th ACET (ACET-20) being conducted by the institute. Candidate should have written or passed his/her Class XII to be eligible for writing ACET. Thus, ACET-20 shall be applicable to all candidates who have completed their Class 12 in 2019.  Students appearing in their Class 12 board exams in 2020 will need to take ACET-21 which will be conducted in the month of June 2020.
