Azim Premji University begins 2020 U.G. Admission Process

Azim Premji University (APU) has commenced its Cycle 1 Admissions for the 2020 session.  

Azim Premji University (APU) is a Private university located in Bengaluru.  Azim Premji University is funded by the Azim Premji Foundation and is set up as a fully philanthropic and not-for-profit entity, with a clear social purpose.  Azim Premji is the founder and chairman of IT giant Wipro.  In the last decade it has emerged as one of the top liberal arts and sciences universities in India.

Programs offered:
- 3 Year B.A. in Economics
- 3 Year B.A. in Humanities
3 Year B.Sc. / 4 Year B.Sc. B.Ed in Physics, Biology or Mathematics

Selection is via an Entrance Test and Interview.  There are two application windows followed by the University:  The Early Admission process (apply by Dec and selection by Jan) the Regular Admission process (apply by April and selection by May).  Applying in the early cycle is likely to be beneficial when it comes to scholarships.

Candidates who have taken SAT or are KVPY qualified need to only take the descriptive part (Part 3) of the APU  Entrance Exam.

The last date to apply for the early cycle is 22nd November, 2019.
The early cycle entrance exam shall be conducted across 18 cities in India on 8th December, 2019.
