Delhi Technological Univ BDesign Admission on UCEED 2019 merit
2019-05-24Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Govt of NCT of Delhi, offers 4 Year Bachelor of Design programme, the admission to which shall be on the basis of merit of Entrance Exam UCEED 2019 and is open to students of all subject streams (Science, Commerce, Humanities). The online application process shall start on 8 June 2019.
Intake & Delhi / Outside Delhi Quota
- Total intake : 60
- Delhi region : 85% seats are for candidates having passed their qualifying exam from a recognized school / college / institute located in National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
- Outside Delhi region : 15% seats are for candidates having passed their qualifying exam from a recognized school / college / institute located outside the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
Note : If the centre of examination is located in NCT of Delhi, the aspirant shall be considered under Delhi region and if the centre of examination is located outside NCT of Delhi, he/she shall be considered under Outside Delhi region.
Supernumerary seats
Kashmiri migrant : 1 (one) supernumerary seat
Sine girl child : 1 (one) supernumerary seat
Central / State Board topper : 1 (one) supernumerary seat
Reservation
SC : 15%
ST : 7.5%
OBC-NCL : 27%
Sub categories namely “Defence”, “Differently Abled Person” are available under each category (including “General” category).
Eligibility : Passed any of the following exams in any stream (Science / Commerce / Humanities) :
Passed Senior School Certificate Examination (12 year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE).
Indian School Certificate Examination 12 year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of CBSE.
The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities).
Note : Candidates who have appeared at the annual examination in the year 2019 and have been placed in Compartment will not be eligible for admission for the year 2019.
Application fee & procedure
Application fee : Rs.1,000/- (Rs500/- for Sc, ST and PwD candidates).
Candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE on www.dtu.ac.in.
The application process is completed only when a printout of the online application is taken after paying the registration fee online. The candidate must bring a duly signed copy of the same along with two good quality photographs (same as uploaded in online application form) affixed in the appropriate place on the form on the day of counselling.
