IPU CET 2019 dates changed, Application date extended

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has extended the last date of application and also changed the date of Common Entrance Test (CET) for its select courses.

About IPU : Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University), a state university, was founded in 1998 and it is a teaching-cum-affiliating university which affiliates 84 colleges in Delhi-NCR and has 15 schools and centres.

Admissions shall be made under two categories:

1) 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/Institute located in NCT of Delhi. These seats will be filled up through the merit /rank list of the respective CET Code prepared for Delhi Region candidates.

2) 15% seats are reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/ Institute located outside Delhi.

Note:

a) For institutions located in the National Capital Region (NCR) outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD), the division of seats between Delhi candidates and outside Delhi candidates, shall be as per the directions of the Govt. of NCTD directions received before the commencement of counseling / admissions in this academic session. NCR comprises of the regions around Delhi which include cities like Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Sonipat, Bahadurgarh, Meerut etc.

b) National Capital Territory of Delhi(NCTD): It consists of the metropolitan area of Delhi along with nine districts and 59 census town and 300 villages. The administrative agencies of NCT are Municipal Corporation of Delhi, New Delhi Municipal Corporation, and Delhi Cantonment Board.
