NID application dates extended, 2 new NIDs to start in 2019
2018-11-19National Institute of Design, an institute of national importance, has extended the application dates for its entrance exam 2019 for BDesign course.
Extended dates
Last date for online application : 23 Nov 2018
Last date for online application with LATE FEE : 30 Nov 2018
Dates for editing application data : 1 Dec to 4 Dec 2019 (upto 12 Noon)
2 New NIDs : Furthermore, NID Bhopal and NID Jorhat shall commence operations from 2019-20 academic year. Both these will be autonomous institutions, under DIPP, as is the case with other NIDs. The decision was taken recently by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India
