BITSAT 2018 cutoff scores
2018-10-23Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus are made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test BITSAT conducted by BITS, Pilani.
In 2018, BITSAT consisted of 150 questions + 12 bonus questions with each correct answer being awarded 3 marks. Hence, the total max score ranged from 450 (for core section) to 486 (score including bonus questions). The final 2018 cut-off scores for admission in various courses across the 3 Indian campuses were as below :

Direct admission to Board Toppers : In the past, admission process of the Institute always ensured guaranteed admission to all the students who obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations. This has given a very vital input of highly meritorious students from all over India. First rank students of all the central and state boards in India for the year 2018 were offered direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2018 score as per the eligibility criteria.
