Course offered : 5 Yr Integrated MA in Economics
Note : The same entrance test is applicable for 4 other courses namely 5 Year Integrated MA in (a) History (b) Political Science (c) Sociology (d) Anthropology
Exit option : This year’s prospectus does not mention any exit option.
However, last year (2018) prospectus mentions the following :
a) Exit option has been introduced for students admitted from academic year 2015-16.
b) It is available at the end of three years in the case of M.A. (5-year Integrated) (Humanities / Social Sciences / Economics) / M.Sc. (5-year Integrated) (Sciences) students.
c) In the case of 5-Year Integrated M.Sc. Optometry and Vision Sciences/6-Year Integrated Optometry (M.Optom) Programme the ‘Exit Option’ would be given at the end of fourth year.
d) Students who exercise ‘Exit option’ at the end of three-years of M.A. (5-year Integrated) / M.Sc. (5-year Integrated) will be given B.A./B.Sc. Certificates. Students in 5-Year Integrated Optometry and Vision Sciences/ 6-Year Integrated Optometry will get B.Optom. Certificate in Optometry at the end of four-years.

Reservation : 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non creamy layer), 5% for EWS
Candidates should note that EWS reservation will be implemented by the University to the extent of 5% during this academic year and the 10% reservation will be reached in the next academic year i.e. 2020-21 as permitted by the MHRD.
Reserved supernumerary seats : 5% supernumerary seats for provided for Persons with Disability, Upto 5% supernumerary seats for wards/dependents of defence personnel
Reservation of seats for J&K candidates under special scholarship scheme : As proposed by the UGC, two supernumerary seats have been created for admitting the students coming from the state of Jammu & Kashmir under MHRDs special scholarship scheme. As per the AICTE guidelines, this is only for those candidates who have passed 10+2 exam from the state of Jammu & Kashmir and would like to join undergraduate programmes in general degree, medical, architecture, pharmacy, law, nursing, agriculture, fisheries, horticulture, veterinary science, etc. The candidates need to apply through the dedicated website of AICTE for joining any of the above course in the universities/colleges allotted to them though AICTE counselling. Reservation of seats for Kashmiri migrants
Interested Kashmiri Migrant candidates shall apply online between 05.04.2019 to 03.05.2019 and pay prescribed fee through online link only (http://.acad.uohyd.ac.in). The Hard copy of online application along with the certificate of being Kashmiri Migrant be forwarded to: Section Officer (Acad), University of Hyderabad, P.O. Central University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad –500046 latest by 20.5.2019.
Note: 1) No other mode of submission of application will be accepted or entertained except the procedure as laid down above.
2) If the Kashmiri migrant candidates wish to appear for the Entrance Examination then they should apply separately.
