UCEED-2022 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, under the guidance of the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee. UCEED is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign).

Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor Degree programme in Design (B. Des.) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD),, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) must appear in UCEED 2022.

Note that UCEED  qualified candidates will have to apply separately for B.Des admissions as per the prescribed procedure.

- IIT Bombay : 37 (Open 15, EWS 4, OBC-NCL 10, SC 5, ST 3)
- IIT Guwahati : 56 (Open 23, EWS 6, OBC-NCL 15, SC 8, ST 4)

- IIITDM Jabalpur : 66 (Open 26, EWS 7, OBC-NCL 18, SC 10, ST 5)

Fee:
The fee structure for 2022 shall be announced by the 4 institutes closer to the time of admission.  The annual fee structure for 2020 including tuition, deposit, hostel and mess charges were:

IIT-B Fee:  
- One Time Admission Fee:  Rs. 8900/-   (OCI/PIO Card Holders: Rs. 8900/-)
- Per Semester Fee:  Rs. 117,600/-  (OCI/PIO Card Holders: Rs. 317600/-)
- Refundable Deposit at time of admission: Rs. 9,000 (OCI/PIO Card Holders: Rs. 8900/-)
Total:  Rs. 135,500 (OCI/PIO Card Holders: Rs. 335,500/-)

IIT-Guwahati Fee:  
- Indian Students:
- One Time Admission Fee:  Rs. 8050/-   
- Per Semester Fee:  Rs. 130,080/-
- Refundable Deposit at time of admission: Rs. 9,600
- Annual Insurance Premium: Rs. 1800/-
Total:  Rs. 149,530

- SAARC Students: $2000 + Rs. 49530
- Non-SAARC Students: $4000 + Rs. 49530

IIT-Hyderabad:  
- One Time Admission Fee:  Rs. 6300/-  
- Per Semester Fee:  Rs. 134,050/-

IITDM-Jabalpur:

For SC/ST with parent income more than 2 lacs: Rs. 20,750/-
For SC/ST with parent income less than 2 lacs: Rs. 15,500/-

Imp Notes
1. Candidates who are NOT citizens of India at the time of registering for UCEED 2022(by birth or naturalization) and whose parents are not citizens of India and do not come under PIO/OCI category at the time of registering for UCEED 2022 are treated as foreign nationals. Seats allotted to foreign nationals are supernumerary (over an above-declared intake) with a cap of 10% of total available seats in the course. The availability of supernumerary seats will be announced at the time of seat allocation.

2. The seats allotted to OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)/PIO (Person of Indian Origin) cardholders will be under the Open category, but not supernumerary. Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO card holders are outside the ambit of reservations [see RESERVATION OF SEATS].
