Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is a multi-disciplinary, student-centric, research-focused Private university situated near New Delhi at Gautam Budh Nagar offering a full range of academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. The University is a fully residential campus.

The School of Engineering (SoE) at SNU offers following disciplines of study: 
- Chemical Engineering : 50 seats
- Civil Engineering : 50 seats
- Computer Science and Engineering : 50 seats
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering : 50 seats
- Electronics & Communication Engineering : 50 seats
- Mechanical Engineering : 50 seats

The University has active partnerships with NYU, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Babson College, Peking University, University of Bologna, Deakin University, University of Gothenburg, Heidelberg, Wellington Institute, Whitireia New Zealand, Ontario Exchange, and Network n+i institutions France.

The admission process followed by SNU is a 3-part process:
1. Meet eligibility criteria based on Class 12 % marks or JEE (Main) 2019 score:  40% weightage
2. Take the Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT) 
3. Review of Application Form, assess subject knowledge for the program, assess ability to contribute & learn at SNU environment
Parts 2 & 3 account for 60% of weightage for admissions
