Program Offered: 4-Year Bachelor of Management Studies and B.Sc. (Research) in Economics & Finance
Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is a multi-disciplinary, student-centric, research-focused Private university situated near New Delhi at Gautam Budh Nagar offering a full range of academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. The University is a fully residential campus. SNU is one of the 19 Public & Private Institutions of Eminence declared by the MHRD, Govt. of India.
The School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SoME) offers the 4-Year BMS program. It is aimed at producing well rounded global citizens who have a broad multidisciplinary base of knowledge and a ‘worldview’– Shiv Nadar University’s special differentiator – along with depth and specialization in several job-oriented and ‘in-demand’ areas in Management.
In addition, a 4-year B.Sc. Research in Economics and Finance program is also available for students to choose. This program is jointly offered by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences & School of Management and Entrepreneurship
Intake:
BMS: 75 seats
B.Sc. (Research) in Economics & Finance: 30 seats
The admission process followed by SNU is as follows for the above 2 programs:
Route 1: SNUSAT + Interview
Route 2: SAT + Interview. Candidates can apply with their SAT score if they have taken the SAT
Route 3: ACT + Interview - Candidates can apply with their ACT score if they have taken the ACT test
Fees:
Tuition Fee: Per year: Rs.4,00,000/-
Refundable Deposit: Rs.25,000/-
Admission Fee: Rs.25,000/- (one time)
Living expenses per year (Hostel, Mess, Laundry): Rs.1,75,840/-
Scholarships:
1. Gifted Student Scholarship: Offered direct admission based on an interaction with faculty member from the admitting department. Applicable for
- Top 100 rank holders in class 12th from CBSE, ICSE, and Cambridge Board of Education
- IB grade points 42 & above
- Top 100 rank holders in class 12th from other State Education Board
- INSPIRE fellows awarded Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)
- JEE (Advanced) top 500 ranks
- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship holders
Admission Fees, Security Deposit and Tuition Fees shall be borne by the University.
2. Scholarship for candidates form low-income households:
Family Income below Rs 3 Lac per annum & the students from following schools:
Vidyagyan, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Municipal Schools, Schools in Schedule V regions, Super 30, Art of Living Schools, Udayachal School, Satya Bharti School, Kallam Anji Reddy Vidyalaya, Sarswati Vidya Mandir, The Suryodaya School, Isha Vidhya, Vidya School, Vidya Vanam School, Door Step School, Free School India, Sri Sathya Sai VidyaKendra, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith
Level of Scholarship in Merit cum means & Sports will be determined by the Scholarship committee.
3. Sports Scholarship:
Students with ranking in their sport from 1 to 100 ranks are eligible to apply. Due weightage shall be given to the Certificates of Winners/Participation at International, National, State level tournaments in respective sports/games recognized by National / International sports bodies of respective sports/games. List of Sports offered for Scholarship are mentioned below:-
Chess, Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis
4. College Board India Scholar:
If you have secured admission to a Shiv Nadar IoE program through College Board SAT, you may be eligible for a College Board India scholarship. The following conditions apply:
- Must be a resident of India
- Family income status < INR 8,00,000 per annum
- SAT score equal to or higher than 1300 (out of 1600) that qualifies the test taker as a “Top Performer”
- Must have graduated from Class 12 in the year student applies for admission to an Indian Global Alliance member university in India
Level of Scholarship in Merit cum means & Sports will be determined by the Scholarship committee.
Students who receive financial aid or scholarship must maintain CGPA 6.5 at the end of every Spring Semester (after consideration of Summer Semester, if any) to retain their scholarships.
