About the College : The College of Nursing at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, was established on 14 January 2008. It is affiliated to autonomous state university SGPGIMS, Lucknow. The college offers a 4 year B.Sc. degree course in nursing, admissions to which are made through an all-India entrance test.

Reservation for disability: 5% Disability reservation to be considered for disabled candidates with a disability of loco-motor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to qualification will be same as prescribed for General category candidates. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for disabled candidates.
Note : Reservation will be admissible only to candidates domiciled in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates domiciled elsewhere will be treated as general category candidates.
At the time of admission : At the time of admission, each selected candidate will have to pay Rs. 5000/- as admission fees; Rs.10,000/- as caution money (refundable on completion of course); Rs. 500/- as enrolment fees; and recurring fees for the first year including Rs. 50,000/- (non-refundable) per year as course fee; Rs. 500/- per year as Library fee; Rs. 2500/- per year as examination fee; Rs. 300/- per year as certificate fees; Rs. 500 per month (Rs. 6000/- annually) as hostel fee], and any other fee as may be prescribed by the Institute from time to time at the time of admission. Food charges, expenditure on uniform, books and study material will be borne by the students as per actuals.
