National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, is now a Central University and also has been accorded the status of Institute of National Importance. The university has established various centres of excellence in its campus such Ballistics Research Centre and Testing Range, Cyber Defence Centre, International Centre for Forensic Narcotics, International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics. The university also runs a Delhi campus offering multiple courses
NFSU offers a variety of UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D & D.Sc/D.Litt/LLD programs. NFSU offers undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
The program is designed in such a way that it enables students to get more familiar with the subject at an early stage thus creating a thirst and passion in the hearts of the students to explore more and excel in the field. The structure and syllabus empower the students to have command not only on the technical side but also the managerial side. The vast employability options after the courses act as a catalyst in the mind of the students to make them pursue an integrated course.

Domicile category: 10% Domicile Quota may be reserved in each campus subject to approval by competent Authority.
Special provisions for Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandit /Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants)
i. Relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement.
ii. Increase in intake capacity upto 5% course wise.
iii. Reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical/professional institution.
iv. Waiving off domicile requirements for Kashmiri Migrants only. Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in the Kashmiri Valley need domicile certificate.
Children and Windows of Eligible Armed Forces Personnel (CW Category): Two supernumerary seats shall be available for preferential allotment in each course for CW candidates.
Fee:
Tuition fee: Rs.65,000/- per semester.
Hostel charges and other Univ charges are extra.
