The Government of Maharashtra has established "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act. 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015), (herein after the Act).
The Commissioner of State CET Cell, has been designated as Competent Authority for conducting MHT-CET 2023 and selection of candidates for admission to 4 Year Full Time
Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and 6 Year Duration Full Time Under Graduate Degree course in Pharm D for the academic year 2022-23.
Normalization : A process of Normalization will be used and candidates will be ranked by their Normalized Score.
Candidate should note that if he/she appearing for both the groups i.e. PCM and PCB, the Percentile score of Physics or Chemistry will not be interchanged among the groups.
Document on Normalization will be available in due course of time
Acceptance of JEE & NEET score for select categories
(a) It is mandatory to appear for MHT-CET 2023 for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech.
However All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT-CET 2023 as Score of JEE(Main) shall be preferred over MHT-CET for admission to B.E./B.Tech.
(b) It is mandatory to appear for MHT-CET 2023 for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature seeking admission to B. Pharm. / Pharm. D.
However, All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT-CET 2023 as Score of NEET-2022 shall be preferred over MHT-CET 2023 for admission to B.Pharm. Pharm. D.
CET subjects combinations
a) The candidate seeking admission to First Year Engineering and Technology degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
b) The candidate seeking admission to First Year Pharmacy / Pharm. D degree course it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and / or Biology.
Scoring : MHT-CET 2023 result will be declared either in Percentile. Candidate should note that if he/she appearing for both the groups i.e. PCM and PCB, the Percentile / Percentage score of Physics or Chemistry will not be interchanged among the groups.
Mock test : Mock test link will be activated on the MHT-CET portal in due course.
