The admissions are now through JEE-Mains, not through State level entrance.

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination will be conducted and regulated by the established procedures and directions/decisions of the Board following the direction of Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi etc.
Reservation : Up-to-date prevailing reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be followed in all courses of Govt. and Non-Govt. Institutes. But, Applicants claiming against reserved seat will have to submit/show Caste or Income & Assest certificate in proper format in ORIGINAL at the time of counselling, issued by competent authority [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer – (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State]. The certificate issued by any other authority will not be considered for claim of reservation and his/her claim for reservation will be refuted and will be deemed to as General category
A minimum of 2 % seats from ST category will now be made available to eligible candidates from Primitive Tribal Group under horizontal reservation provided the Primitive Tribal Group candidates do not figure in ST category merit list.
Seats are also reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
No re-checking / re-evaluation : The machine - gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinized. There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Counselling Fee : Successful Candidates of General/EWS/ BC -I/BC- II category who are called for counselling, will have to submit Rs.400/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST/ Female of all categories) by either RTGS or by using Credit/Debit card through swipe Machine to participate in the counselling. Detailed information will be provided through advertisement made for counselling.
