Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida is a state university setup by the UP Govt in 2008. The University is funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the undertakings of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It conducts Graduate Proficiency Test for Undergraduates (GPTU) for admissions into its various courses. The university runs 8 Schools of Learning :

Branches & Intake
a) 5 Year Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech/MBA in Biotechnology - 60 seats (without early exit option)
b) B.Tech (Food Processing & Technology) - 30 seats
Please note that the entrance test is common for all BTech/Integrated BTech-MTech/MBA courses. Other branches offered are Artificial Intelligence, Design Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science & Engg, Information Technology, Architecture
Reservation / Relaxation
(a) Reservation and relaxation policy is as per the Uttar Pradesh Government rules and Gautam Buddha University rules.
(b) Sports person providing evidence of participation in National/International level events may be provided 5% relaxation in respective qualifying examination.
Practice Videos : Practice Videos for Computer based test will be uploaded on GBU admission portal in due course of time.
Fee
Registration fee Rs.10,000
Security (refundable) Rs.10,000

Exam fee : Rs.1000
Academic fee : Rs.75,000 per semester
Hostel charges Rs.35,000 per annum for triple seated room (Rs40,000 for single seated)
Mess charges Rs.30,000 per annum or as per actual, whichever is higher
Note
Relaxation to SC/ST candidates in the fee is as per UP govt. norms/rules.
Hostel exemption would not ordinarily be allowed. Only in exceptional circumstances can it be allowed on case to case basis by the Competent Authority.
