Programs Offered - Unique 5-Years Bachelors Programs in Architecture, Design, Urban Design, Interior Design, and Construction Technology
Important: Until 2021, CEPT conducted own entrance exam for admissions to its Bachelors in Design. However, this has been discontinued from 2022 session. Admission to the 5-year Bachelor of Design program shall be through UCEED score.
CEPT University takes its name from the Center for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT). CEPT and the various schools that it comprised were established by the Ahmedabad Education Society with the support of the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India. The Government of Gujarat incorporated CEPT as a university in 2005.

CEPT offers the following unique 5-Year U.G Programs
- 5 Year Bachelor's in Architecture - 80 seats (40 seats to be filled via APCP, Govt of Gujarat) & 40 seats via NATA score (All India seats) PCM combination is mandatory.
This program is approved by the Council of Architecture (CoA) and equips students with the competencies necessary for being effective professional architects and exposes them to the aesthetic, technical, social, political, and ethical dimensions of the built environment.

- 5 Year Bachelor's in Urban Design (Faculty of Planning) - 40 seats (via NATA score) Students from all streams are eligible
This five-year bachelor's program gives students professional training that equips them to work as designers in the public realm and to analyze the urban environment, its systems, and its multiple scales. Students will be taught to use design skills, analytical tools, and knowledge of legal frameworks that are required to design public infrastructure, facilities and amenities, and policies and regulations that shape the built environment.

- 5 Year Bachelor of Interior Design (Faculty of Design) - 40 seats (20 seats via ACPC process of govt of Gujarat & 20 seats on all India basis via NATA). PCM combination is mandatory.
The Bachelor of Interior Design program is structured to allow students to understand human habitation by exposure to different contexts through various means like in-class live experiences, field trips, living with craftsmen, and case studies encountered at various phases in the student life. These engagements enable the students to be both reflective and responsive designers.

- 5 Year Bachelor of Design (Building Products and Systems) (Faculty of Design) - 40 seats (all via UCEED Entrance Test). Students from all streams are eligible.
The course, spread over ten semesters, will focus on developing systems thinking into the field of building products’ design. The students shall be exposed to the various elements of building technology, structural engineering, production processes, material sciences, form making, detailing and design management.
2022 Admission via UCEED 2022 score.
- 5 Year Bachelor of Construction Technology (BCT) (Faculty of Technology) - 60 seats (30 seats via ACPC process of govt of Gujarat & 30 seats filled by CEPT on all India basis via JEE Main) Physics & Maths combination is mandatory.
The five–year undergraduate (UG) program in Construction Technology is one of the unique engineering programs in India. The course leads to a degree of Bachelor of Construction Technology. It equips students with competencies necessary for being effective professional engineers and exposes them to technical, managerial and social dimensions of the built environment.

- Means cum merit scholarships are available ranging from 25% to 75%
