Banasthali Vidyapith is a fully residential women's university which offers an integrated system extending from the primary to the Ph.D. level. Admission to the Banasthali Vidyapith is open to women only. A student admitted to Banasthali Vidyapith has to compulsorily join a hostel of the Vidyapith unless the student is a ward of some worker of the Vidyapith and stays with the worker in the campus, or the student belongs to a neighbouring village community within a radius of 25 kms.

NIRF Rank: The university is ranked no. 59 in the catgory “Engineering” as per NIRF 2022 framework by GoI.

Selection criteria

Admission is based on a combined merit of 50% marks in all India aptitude test and 50% of normalized aggregate percentage in 10+2.

B.Arch admission is based on merit in Class 12 score.

Credit points for merit preparation : The following credit points are awarded for preparing final merit list :

1. Games

    (a) Represented the State or combined University team : 2%

    (b) Represented the Country : 5%

2. (a) President Guide/Ranger : 3%

    (b) ’C’ certificate in NCC/Banasthali Seva Dal : 3%

    (c) Represented Regional Youth Festival : 3%

    (d) Represented National Youth Festival : 5%

3. Passing Qualifying examination from Banasthali : 5%

4. Ex-students of Banasthali having studied full time course : 5%

5. Candidate whose mother or sister has studied or is studying in Banasthali : 5%

6. Candidate whose guardian(s) has worked or is working in Banasthali : 5%

Note(s)

(a)  If the credit point is awarded under category No. 1 - 4, total credit points will not be greater than 5%. If in addition the credit points are also awarded under category Nos. 5-6, total credit points will not be greater than 7%.

(b) Old students who have passed the last examination from Banasthali University and have studied in Banasthali for a period of 5 years or less will be awarded 5% credit points and for every additional year 1% credit.

(c) Maximum credit points that may be awarded under all categories is 10%.     

Fee

Regular fee : Rs.1,54,000/- per annum

One time hostel admission fee : Rs5,000/-

One time course admission fee : Rs.10,000/-

Development fee : Rs.41,000/- per annum  

Mess charges (for 10 months) : Rs.21,500/-

Electricity & water charges (for 10 months) : Rs.7.500/-

Room rent (for 10 months) : Rs.6,500/-

Campus fee : Rs.21,000/- per annum

One time refundable security deposit : Rs.10,000/-

One time imprest amount : Rs.2,500/-

Enrolment, Identity card, Examination fee etc : Rs.3,500/-

Regular fee for Foreign nationals and NRI / NRI Sponsored candidates is US$3,850 per annum

Foreign / NRI / NRI Sponsored admissions : A limited number of seats are available for Foreign / NRI / NRI sponsored candidates. Admission against these seats are based directly upon the merit and the applicants do not have to appear in the Aptitude Test. The eligibility for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Re-admission: If a student name is removed from the rcords of Vidyapith or from Shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutir and in the event Banasthali Vidyapith decides to readmit her, admission fee of Rs. 5,000/- shall be payable. The admission of a student shall be automatically cancelled due to unauthorized absence of three days or more.
