Courses offered : (a) 4 yr Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology and (b) 3 yr B.Sc (Hospitality and Hotel Administration)
Dr. Patangrao Kadam established Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune in 1964. Now, it conducts 250+ programs and runs 190+ institutions and 29 constituent units. Among these are colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Hotel Management and Catering Technology etc.
Campuses : Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has campuses in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Kolhapur, Solapur, Karad, Satara and Panchgani.
Seats : 60 in BHMCT in Pune, 180+60 in B.Sc (HHA) in Pune and Mumbai

(b) One seat over and above the sanctioned intake in each programme will be reserved for sons and daughters of migrants from Jammu & Kashmir valley and Defence and Civil Service personnel engaged in fighting against terrorists activities in Jammu & Kashmir valley. (Refer D. O. No. F. 10-1/2003-Desk(U) Dated 5-12-2003). The candidates to be admitted against these seats must have appeared the entrance test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.
(b) 15% seats are reserved under Foreign / NRI / PIO / Institutional Quota Merit Category. Candidates seeking admissions to the seats of this category will have to apply on prescribed application form and submit the same to, The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.
Fee structure : Fee structure will be available on the website later. Last year’s fee structure is provided below for reference.
(a) Annual fee
(i) BHMCT : Rs.1,47,000(Regular merit category),Rs.1,90,000 (Institutional quota merit category), US$8,500 (Foreign / NRI / PIO merit category)
(ii) BSc (HHA) at Pune : Rs.74,000(Regular merit category),Rs.85,000 (Institutional quota merit category), US$5,500 (Foreign / NRI / PIO merit category)
(iii) BSc (HHA) at Mumbai : Rs.80,000(Regular merit category),Rs.50,000 (Institutional quota merit category), US$4,000 (Foreign / NRI / PIO merit category)
(b) In addition the students will have to pay Eligibility fee Rs.300, Smart Card Fee Rs 100, House Magazine Rs.100.
(c) The expenses in connection with Uniform, Kitchen kit, Books-Journals, Printed Forms, University Examination Fees, Industrial Visits, Field work, Summer Training, Seminar, food festivals, Specialized Training Modules, Special Assistance for Placement etc. will be borne by the student over and above the Fees.
(d) The fees are to be paid in full at the commencement of the Academic year
Hostel facility : Available for limited number of boys and girls
Counseling : The counselling sessions will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology Katraj-Dhankawadi , Pune - 411043.Tel – 020 24372761, 24372788
Placements : The Institute had signed a MOU with Global Education Management services, UK. GEM has agreed to assist students for work experience and placement in UK, Australia, China and Middle East.
Average monthly salary (placements in India) in 2022, 2021 and 2020 was Rs.18,000/-, Rs.17,500/- and Rs.24,800/- respectively.
