Summary

Program Offered: 5-Year Integrated B.A. LL.B 

The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University established in the capital city of India. Admission to the First Year of the 5-Year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme is made strictly on merit, based on the All India Law Entrance Examination (AILET-2020). 
Please note that all other National Law Universities have their intake into their five year integrated law programs on the basis of the Common Law Entrance Test CLAT.  The only exception is NLU Delhi which conducts its separate entrance exam AILET for admissions.

Intake:
(1) Via AILET 2020: 110 seats via AILET
Gen: 44.5%, 22% OBC candidates, 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates and 10% for EWS candidates. 5% Horizontal reservation of seats for Persons with Disabilities.
(2) Supernumerary seats:  3 (One supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants. Two additional supernumerary seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.)
(3) Foreign Nationals: 10 seats for direct admission (No AILET reqd) to Foreign Nationals on merit (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO.  
Grand Total Intake: 123 seats

Fee (2020): 
Tuition Fee: Rs. 85,000 p.a
Hostel Deposits and other one-time fees: Rs. 22,500
Other Fees incl Hostel, Library etc. : Rs. 78,500 p.a
Total: Rs. 1,86,000
Mess charges per semester:  Rs. 21,000 

Imp note regarding Hostel accomodation: The B.A.LL.B Program is completely residential.  Howwever, due to increase in number of seats in BA.LL.B.(Hons.) Programme and availability of limited Hostel accommodation, preference will be given in Hostel allotment to the students coming from outside Delhi/NCR. The students from Delhi/NCR will be considered for Hostel allotment subject to availability of accommodation after allotment to the students from outside Delhi/NCR.

Key Change in mode of AILET-2020:
Owing to the COVID-19 situation, AILET has decided to take the support of the National Testing Agency (NTA) for conducting the entrance exam.  The test will be conducted in RPT (Remotely Proctored Testing) mode wherein the candidate will need to take the test online as opposed to offiline pen & paper test.
