Jamia Hamdard Admissions 2018 Through JEE (Mains) and NEET

Jamia Hamdard, a Deemed to be University, has released the notification for admission to its various Engineering and Biological Sciences undergraduate courses for the forthcoming session.

About Jamia Hamdard : Jamia Hamdard was conceived as a seat of higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing and other areas of knowledge by its founder as a means of fulfilling the objects of the wakf. Graduate programme in Information Technology and Computer Applications and Post-graduate programmes in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Business Management, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy have been started in the last few years. Undergraduate programmes in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy are being introduced from this year. Jamia Hamdard offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes in several disciplines for which advanced facilities are available.

Admission to B.Tech : Admission to B.Tech courses shall be done on the basis of merit obtained in JEE-Mains-2018. Three branches are offered in B.Tech :

a) Computer Science and Engineering

b) Electronics & Communication Engineering

c) Food Technology

Admission to MBBS and Biological Sciences courses : Admission to MBBS and other Biological Sciences courses shall be done on the basis of merit obtained in NEET-2018. Following courses are being offered :

d) BSc (Hons) Nursing

e) BPT - Bachelor of Physiotherapy

f) BOT –Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

g) BMLT – BSc in Medical Lab Techniques

h) Bachelor of Optometry

i) BETCT – BSc in Emergency and Trauma Care Techniques

j) BMR & HIM – BSc in Medical Record and Health Information Management

k) BSc in Dialysis Technique

l) BCLT – BSc in Cardiology Lab Techniques
