IIT-Madras announces HSEE-2018 Schedule (Applicable for all streams)
2017-11-16Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) has announced the date for the HSEE-2018 Entrance Exam for admissions after class 12 to the five year integrated Master of Arts (M.A.) program. The M.A. shall be offered in two streams: a) Development Studies and b) English Studies. Students from Humanities, Commerce or Science streams are eligible.
The program is offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) at IIT-M. The department is essentially multi-disciplinary in nature and has faculty from diversestreams, such as Development Studies, Economics, English, Environmental Studies, FilmStudies, Health Studies, History, International Relations, Philosophy, Politics, and Sociology. The Ingtrated M.A. programme has been offered since 2006-07. The programme imparts substantial knowledge of Indian economy, literature, philosophy, culture, society, and public policy. It provides opportunities for learning a foreign language. Currently German, French and Chinese are offered.
The applications shall commence from December 14th, 2017 and the exam shall be held on 15th April 2018.
