UPES 2018 Entrance Test “To secure your B.Tech seat in advance”
2017-11-07UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) has invited applications “to secure your seat for select B.Tech courses in advance”. In this scheme, test will be conducted on 7 days between 26 Nov 2017 and 7 Jan 2018 with result being declared within 2 days of test. On offer of conditional admission, 50% of the semester fee will have to be paid within 10 days of offer letter and balance by 31 May 2018.

Select courses offered in this cycle : Geo-Science, Geo-Informatics, Mechatronics, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Civil (Infrastructure Development), Fire & Safety, Computer Science courses in collaboration with IBM (Mainframe Technology, Oil & Gas Informatics, E-Commerce, Retail and Automation, IT Infrastructure, Banking / Financial Services & Insurance, Graphics & Gaming, Internet of Things and Smart Cities, Mobile Application and Development, AI & Machine Learning)
Admission Procedure
a) Results will be declared within 2 days of appearing for the Online test (Test date + 2 days)
b) Conditional offer letter will be released subject to the aspirant securing minimum 60% total aggregate marks in class 12th and class 12th PCM
c) 50% of the semester fee to be submitted within 10 days from the date of the offer letter to confirm admission. Balance 50% fee to be submitted by 31st May 2018 failing which admission stand cancelled and seat will be allotted in the main counselling

Eligibility
a) Class 12th appearing student or passed out student with PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Math) background
b) Class 12th appearing students - Should have passed class 11th with 60% total aggregate and 60% in PCM aggregate Class 10th with 60% total aggregate marks
