HPTU B.Arch Applications Started
2017-07-17Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) invites applications to its 5 Year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Program to be offered by Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Engineering College, Kangra at Nagrota Bagwan, District Kangra. This will be the first batch of B.Arch being introduced by HPTU.
Seats:
Total intake : 40 seats
HP students: 32 seats (80%)
All India Quota: 6 seats (15%)
NRI: 2 seats (5%)
Reservation (applicable only for HP quota seats):
Vertical reservation categories
Gen: 55%, SC: 22%, ST: 5%, OBC: 18%
HOrizontal reservation in each category
Defence/Ward of Ex-servicemen: 15%
Freedom Fighters: 2%
Physically Challenged: 3%
IRDP/BPL/Antyodaya Orophans: 15%
Sports: 2%
Backward Area: 4%
Eligibility:
- 50% marks (45% for reserved category students) in aggregate in 10+2 with Maths as one of the subjects
- Candidates who have a Valid NATA 2016 or NATA 2017 score or have a score of JEE Main)Paper-II-2017
- Admission criteria shall be based on following weightage:
50% weightage for aggregate marks of Class 12 (or equivalent) and
50% weightage for valid NATA-2016 or NATA-2017 or JEE Main)Paper-II-2017 score
Fees:
- During Admission: Rs. 4700/-
- Various Fees per Semester: Rs. 10,000/-
- Hostel Fee per semester: Rs. 900/-
- Hostel Security (one time): Rs. 2000/-
- Tuition Fee Per semester: Rs. 30,000/-
Application Procedure:
- Applications are to be submitted ONLINE at http://himtu.ac.in
- Application will cost Rs. 1550/- for General category candidates and Rs. 1400/- for Reserved category candidates.
- Last date to apply ONLINE is 31-July-2017 (upto 5PM)
- A candidate must be present in person at the time of counselling and should immediately report to the Admission Selection Committee on calling
- After completing the application form, take a print out of the Application Form (Confirmation Page) and get it signed from your parents/guardian and send it either through post to the Registrar, H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur 177001 (H.P.) or email at: himtuadmission@gmail.com
