Applications invited from J&K Migrants for admission in Engg courses in Gujarat
2017-06-14Admission Committee for Professional Courses (Commissionerate of Technical Education, Gujarat State) invites applications from J&K migrants as per the provisions of Govt. of Gujarat, Education Department notifications for Engg GH/SH/11/2013/PVS/102012/142/S dated 30 Apr 2013 for admission in first year of Engg Degree courses.
Colleges in scope : Govt / Grant-in-Aid / Self financed institutes
No. of seats : 2 per institute
Eligibility : As specified in the notification mentioned above
Entrance exam : Students applying under this category are exempted from GUJCET-2017
Application fee : Rs.350
How to apply : Apply in the prescribed application form available on website alongwith self attested copies of supporting documents and a demand draft of Rs.350 drawn in favour of “Admission Committee for Professional Courses”. It is mandatory to submit Migration Certificate issued by the competent authority along with the application form.

Key dates
a) Last date to submit application alongwith documents and fee : 24 June 2017 (by 5pm)
b) Display of merit list (on website) :1 July 2017
c) Date for counseling at Commissionerate office : 15 July 2017
Note
a) It is mandatory to produce migration certificate
b) Applications received after the time/date specified will not be entertained
c) Merit list will be displayed on the website. No individual call letters will be sent for counseling.
d) Candidates whose name appear in the merit list shall remain present with all original documents & necessary toke tuition fee (Rs.1,500 for Govt / Grant-in-Aid institutes and Rs.20,000 for Self-Financed institutes) at their own cost.
e) Candidates not carrying original documents shall not be allowed to participate in counseling.
