2017-06-06Jamia Hamdard (JH), New Delhi is a deemed-to-be University. It has eight faculties including a medical college and two hospitals. In engineering field, it offers B.Tech and BSc programmes.

Selection procedure
a) B.Tech : On the basis of merit in Paper-1 of JEE-Mains-2017. In case some seats remain unfilled, the university may admit candidates based on merit in qualifying exam or the merit of internal test and/or interview conducted by Jamia Hamdard which will be announced separately, if the situation arises.
b) BCA & BSc (IT) : On the basis of merit of the qualifying exam and/or interview to be conducted by Jamia Hamdard.
Eligibility
a) B.Tech : A candidate seeking admission to this program must have passed Senior Secondary (12th / Intermediate) examination with Mathematics and Physics compulsory, and one subject out of the following : Computer Science, Chemistry, Electronics from CBSE or any other Board recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.
b) BCA / BSc (IT) : A candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Mathematics as one of the passed subjects from CBSE or any other Board recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate

passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Commerce background having one paper Accountancy or Business Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate
(OR)
passed SeniorSecondary (12th standard/intermediate) examination with Commerce background having one paper Accountacy or Business Mathematics, securing atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate
(OR)
passed SeniorSecondary (12th standard/intermediate) examination having one Theory paper Computer Science / Multimedia and Web Technology / Information Technology securing atleast 50% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.
