IIT Again Extends UCEED 2023 Application Date

IIT Bombay has extended the application last date for its Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination (UCEED) for admission to B.Design programs at its campus besides IIT-Delhi, IIT-Hyderabad, and IIIT-DM Jabalpur. UCEED BDesign 2023 Application Date Extended

UCEED 2023 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor Degree program in Design (BDes) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ).

Additionally, many other universities grant admissions to their design programs on the basis of the UCEED scores.

Revised dates
Last Date to Apply with regular fee:  4 Nov 2022 
Last Date to Apply with a late fine of Rs.500:  11 Nov 2022
Date of UCEED Examination:  22nd January 2023

Who can apply: Candidates who have completed their Class 12 in 2022 or are expected to write their Class 12 exams in 2023 may apply for UCEED 2023.
Important note regarding admission eligibility
i) Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply to all the five institutes.
ii) Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad.
iii) For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, only students with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology at 10+2 can apply.
Students from Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur.

Type of Exam
UCEED
-2023 is a 3-hour test center-based examination and has two parts: Part-A is computer-based and Part-B contains question-related to sketching that needs to be attempted on the provided sheet. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts in the given time.
