NID-2023 Admission Application has Started
2022-10-26The National Institute of Design, India's one of most prestigious Design institutions, has announced the commencement of the 2023 Admission application process. The renowned four-year Bachelor of Design programs will be offered by NID Ahmedabad, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Assam, NID Madhya Pradesh, and NID Haryana.
The admissions are via a two-stage entrance test format: DAT-Prelims & DAT-Mains. 
About NID: National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad, and at its Bengaluru Gandhinagar campuses is an Institute of National Importance under the DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It is renowned as one of the premier institutes in the country when it comes to design education. In recent times, four new campuses have been established across the country, one each in Jorhat (Assam), Kurukshetra (Haryana), Bhopal (MP), and Guntur (AP).
The specializations offered by NID are Product Design, Furniture & Interior Design, Ceramic & Glass Design, Animation Film Design,Film & Video Communication, Exhibition Design, Graphics Design, Textile, Apparel & Lifestyle Accessory Design.
NID Ahmedabad offers 125 seats while each of the other four NIDs offers 75 seats on their campuses.
Applications to apply to the programs have started and the last date to apply without a late fee is 16th December 2022. (19th December with late fee)
The DAT-Prelims will be conducted across multiple cities on 08th January 2023.
Shortlisted students will be invited to take DAT-Mains, which is scheduled for 29th April 2023.
