Kurukshetra University 2022 Admissions On Marks Basis
2022-08-04Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Category-I University) invites online applications for admissions in UG and Integrated UG-PG programmes for the session 2022-23. The admissions shall be based on marks scored in qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent).
Merit Criteria : There is no entrance test. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit of qualifying exam. In case result of qualifying exam of the programs is not available, the result up to penultimate semesters of qualifying exam will be considered for preparing the merit list.
Note for compartment candidates : Candidates having compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission in the concerned programme except BHM&CT.

(1) B.A. Mass Communication (3 Year)
Eligibility Conditions: Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with English as one of the subjects with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.

Eligibility Conditions: Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2 Standard) from a recognized Board of Education Haryana or an equivalent Examination having not less than 50% marks in aggregate with English as one of the subjects.
Note:1. The eligibility of SC/ST candidates will be minimum pass marks.

Note : A candidate having compartment/ reappear in one subject only in 10+2 Exam. may be allowed to take admission provisionally. If such a candidate fails to qualify the compartment/reappear subject even before the commencement of 1st semester examination, his provisional admission shall be cancelled ab initio.

Eligibility Conditions: Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 Standard) with 45% marks in aggregate with English as one of the subjects.

(10) B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) 5 Year Integrated Programme
Eligibility Conditions: Senior Secondary Certificate Exam. (10+2 standard) from the Board of School Edu., Haryana or an Exam recognized as equivalent thereto, securing not less than 45% marks (42.75% marks in case of SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates) in aggregate with English as one of the subject.
Note:
(1) The candidates who have obtained 10+2 standard certificate through open School / Open University System directly without having any basic qualification prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) 5-Yr. Integrated Programme.
(2) The programme is open only to whole time students and not to employed or the self -employed.
(3) The candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 Examination in 2022 and whose results have not been declared may also apply at their own risk and responsibility subject to the fulfilment of the above- mentioned eligibility conditions on the date of counseling.
(4) Candidates who are placed under compartment in the qualifying Examination shall not be allowed admission to the programme, even provisionally.

Application fee : The Application Processing Fee of a programme has been fixed of Rs. 800/- (Rs.200/- for SC / BC / Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only). If a student applies for more than one programme, he/she will have to deposit fee of Rs. 300/-(Rs.75/- for SC / BC / Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) for each programme separately.
