JEE-Main Session-1 Result Analysis
2022-07-17The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 Session 1 - Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) results were published by the National Testing Agency. NTA conducted this Examination from June 24 to June 30, 2022.
About JEE (Main). 
JEE (Main) consists of two papers. Paper 1 is held for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also a prerequisite for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is offered for admission to the country's B. Arch and B. Planning programs.
Number of Candidates Registered
A total of 8,72,432 applicants enrolled for Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in this Examination, and 769589 candidates appeared for the same.
Examination Center
The Examination was conducted at 588 examination centers in 407 Cities, including 17 cities outside India in Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos/Abuja, Colombo, Jakarta, Vienna, Moscow, Port Louis, and Bangkok.
The Examination was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).
Eligibility
The minimum marks to qualify for the NTA JEE Mains result is 75% for the general category and a minimum of 65% for SC/SC/PWD category candidates.
Score and Percentage
>> Fourteen students obtained 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) Session 1 exam.
>> Toppers belonged to:
Telangana, with four, has the maximum number of toppers,
followed by three from Andhra Pradesh,
one each from Assam, Rajasthan, Haryana, Jharkhand, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
Upcoming JEE Main Exams
NTA has concluded JEE Main 2022 registration for Session 2, and the exams for the same are scheduled to be conducted from July 21 to July 30, 2022. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Exams on July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, 2022.
